ICMIP 2021
2021 6th International Conference on Multimedia and Image Processing (ICMIP 2021) was held during January 8-10, 2021, in Zhuhai, China, sponsored by Beijing Normail Univeristy (Zhuhai), China. As you have been aware, COVID-19 is still out of control for many countries, and the safety and well-being of our participants is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, after serious consideration, the committee has made the difficult decision to have ICMIP 2021 as an onsite conference combined with virtual mode.
ICMIP 2021 conference proceedings have been included into ACM Digital Library, and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

Prof. Zhiwen Zhao (Dean, Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, China) gives warmly welcome to all attendees. Additionally, the organizing committees have invited Prof. Jie Wu (IEEE and AAAS Fellow, Temple University, USA), Prof. Ce Zhu (IEEE and IET Fellow, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China), Prof. Guoliang XING (IEEE Fellow, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong), Prof. Yong Guan (Iowa State University, USA) to deliver keynote speeches. Prof. Hiroyuki Kudo (University of Tsukuba, Japan) has delivered plenary speech during the conference.

Moreover the conference was composed of 1 technical oral onsite session and 4 technical oral online sessions, topics coverd: Data and Information Security; Data security and Information Management; Computer and Intelligent Computing; Communication Network and Information Technology; Image Processing Technology and Methods. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
